About Liza and the phfitness studio
Promoting your physical and emotional well-being is my goal as a personal trainer and Pilates teacher. I aim to help you achieve your fitness goals while also teaching better breathing, posture and movement patterns that can be incorporated into your daily life for improved health, vigour and well-being.
My studio has a wide range of equipment for improving your cardiovascular fitness, for challenging your strength, stability and balance, for improving your proprioception and bone density, and for providing varied and interesting workouts. I use and teach the equipment with intelligence, offering up-to-date ideas and exercises that will ensure you achieve your peak functional potential.
The equipment includes a Kinesis Wall, Power Plate, Pilates Reformer, Pilates Tower, Pilates Wunda Chair, cross-trainer, rower and bike. There is also a range of smaller pieces such as stability balls, kettlebells, weights, toning balls, medicine balls and a bosu.
I trained with the National Institute of Ireland as a Personal Trainer, with the Pilates Institute Ireland as a Matwork Pilates teacher and with the Pilates Foundation UK as a Pilates Matwork and Studio Equipment teacher. I also trained with the Pilates Foundation UK as a Pre and Post Natal Pilates Specialist. I am a member of the Register of Exercise Professionals, the Pilates Foundation UK and the Guild of Pregnancy and Post Natal Exercise Teachers.
